Who is your favorite chess player?

mozart777, first of all and just so you know, i dont have to play you EVER, this site is for fun and I am enjoying ever game I play on it (I have lost many games and I am intrigued). What intrigues me, is that you picked up on the game I played with obsidian. We played that game on 27 Jan, you joined the site on on 09 Jan, AND I have played over 300 games, so why did you chose that paticular game, are you one and the same person ???? obsidian has not played anyone else, he has only played me and he has not returned to the site ... most strange dont you think ?????
Any other players out there got a view on this remarkable coincidence ?

If you look at Obsidian's blog a few spots above, you will note he states: "White_pawn very sportingly allowed me to finish our recent game with a checkmate when he could have resigned the game a move or two before." Simple where I picked up that you played him, isn't it? I see Obsidian's based in the USA, whilst I am in Zululand, South Africa, and have this country's email identity i.e. co.za, so we can't really be the same person, since this would have to involve me flying back and forth between the northern and southern hemispheres just to ostensibly fool white-pawn. Any, if you dont want to play, fine be like that!!

Well I've played white_pawn, and he seems to be an all round good chap!
There's not many players out there who lose with such good grace, I've wondered at times
if he has realized the full gravity of the situation. white_pawn I'll play you anytime!!

My favorite chess players are Botvinnik, Tal, and Kasparov.

My best Player would be Viswanath Anand....He is too good in rapid chess I suppose.Any one to back me?

Also about White_Pawn... He is more kind of a friend than an opponent..

mozart777 is a gent...brilliant player..i thought i could play a bit but he makes me look bad!!hes always happy to give constructive advice...so mamba you get my vote..

I would tend to agree with Rooky66.

I think im the most inconsistent and entertaining player on this site, i never shirk a challenge and will happily play anyone, i reckon i would have beaten tal, kasparov and fisher. Anyone fancy their chances....you know where i am.
